In addition to Livestock shows and competitions, open class, and 4-H projects, the Weld County Fair is home to many special events and activities. There is truly something for everyone. Most events and activities are free and open to the public in addition to our Fair families and exhibitors. Fair Merch Mart

The Weld County Fair Team launched the Fair Merch Mart at Weld County Fair this year!

Although County Fair has come to a close, branded Weld County Fair gear can still be purchased at the Fair Office. All money received will simply continue to help fund future Fair operations and help us to market Fair beyond our Fair family.

We accept cash, check, or debit/credit cards. Make time to stop by and shop...for the holidays and beyond!

We have been and remain a FREE Fair with no charge for admission, parking, and most events. Royalty Contest

The Weld County Fair began in 1918 and has become a proud and long-standing tradition of Weld County. Together, we represent these traditions and values in our community by attending events to encourage all to come and be a part of the Weld County Fair. The royalty program is an integral part of the fair experience, and we are happy you are wanting to join us in the experience. Applicants must be between the ages of 12-18 as of December 31st of the reigning year.

Do you like meeting new people? Do you want your leadership skills to improve? Do you like to experience new adventures? Do you like new clothes? Do you like to be in parades? Do you like to inform people about the Weld County Fair? If you said yes to any of these questions, then you should consider becoming part of the Weld County Fair Royalty. The application is due by July 8, 2025, by 5:00 p.m. in the Weld County Extension Office.

Market Animals ID Lists and Meat Quality Assurance List

Market Animal ID Lists

Livestock/ Horse / Poultry / Rabbit Forms

Other forms or tasks needed to be eligible to show:

Doe Identification for Rabbit Meat Pens - due by May 1, 2025.
Animal ownership -- all animals must be owned by the exhibitor by May 1, 2025.
MQA training must be completed in late May or early June in 2024. Please see the 4-H Newsletter for a list of face-to-face MQA trainings statewide. There will be a virtual MQA training available late spring that is valid for one year.
Horse Levels Testing must be completed by July 1, 2024. Please find information about horse levels testing in the 4-H Newsletter.
Individual Livestock Forms (formerly Combined Market Livestock Form) - all market species exhibitors MUST fill out and bring a completed form for each market species they are entered in for the respective species Weigh-In.

Cattle for Kids

Cattle For Kids is a group of individuals, families and businesses who encourage 4-H and FFA members to choose a Breeding Beef project and to show their cattle at the Weld County Fair. Cattle For Kids now has three programs which gave awards adding up to $5,000 in 2025.

Prize Money: Prize money is given for each class placings and division champions and reserve champions.
Heifer Purchase: Awards will be given at the 2025 Weld County Fair.
Cow/Calf Incentive: Exhibitors of cow/calf pairs will receive a $200 award the first time a cow is returned to the fair with a calf at side after that cow was previously shown at the fair and entered in the Cow/Calf Incentive program.
