Weld County Sale Committee Youth Ambassador Program

The Weld County Fair Junior Livestock Sale Committee would like to invite all 4-H and FFA members to apply to be a Youth Ambassador. The Youth Ambassador Program was founded 10 years ago to afford 4-H and FFA members the opportunities to assist and be first-hand involved with the processes and inner workings of the Weld County Fair Junior Livestock Sale. This program strives to develop our ambassadors into elite leaders that are willing to go above and beyond, “to make the best, better!”.

As an ambassador, our members are required to be leaders of moral character and value and to play an active role in the production of our sale. They are provided with opportunities to grow and develop their leadership, communication and relationship building skills, all the while gaining confidence, responsibility and problem-solving skills. This leadership program is not limited to livestock exhibitors but is designed to build leadership skills for all young people.

The requirements for the Youth Ambassador program are:

  1. Be a 4-H or FFA member in good standing.
  2. Complete the application and submit the ONLINE ONLY application no later than March 31, 2024 by 11:59 pm. You can apply for the Weld County Fair Junior Livestock Sale Youth Ambassador Program by filling out the Youth Ambassador Application.
